A cookbook of tried and tested “recipe,” supporting strategies for the inclusion of all students. In many regular classrooms, the integration of students who have difficulty processing grade – level curriculum often means providing individual programs or “shaving off their corners” so they fit. Share the perspectives of a student, a teacher, a Paraeducator and a parent on enlarging the circle of Inclusion while “working with” instead of “doing for.” Learn how to parallel class activities, focusing on skills and concepts that encourage individual capabilities and self esteem. Providing opportunities to understand and share abilities with their classmates will enrich the education of ALL students.

LEVEL : all age /grade levels.

LENGTH : 3 Hours.

AUDIENCE : 20 to 40. During our awareness exercise a small gift is provided.                           $1.00 will be charged for each participant.

HANDOUTS : To be photocopied by the School District or Organization.

AV REQUIREMENTS : Overhead Projector / Screen, TV / VCR.
